Before 9:00 AM (Drop-off): Beach Metal Detectives will drop off a fresh, deeply sanitized unit with a guaranteed 16-hour battery charge at your designated desk/hut.
At Sunset (Pick-up): Place the machine back behind the desk. We will swing by to retrieve it for overnight off-site charging, maintenance, and deep cleaning.
π SCENARIO 1: A Guest Wants to Rent/Treasure Hunt
Treat this exactly like checking out a pool towel, bicycle, or beach umbrella.
Hand Over the Complete Kit: Give the guest the detector, the waterproof headphones, the 4ft sand scoop, and the wearable finds bag.
Highlight the Headphones Feature: Remind the guest to wear the waterproof headphones so they can hear targets clearly and keep the beach quiet and relaxing for other lounging guests.
Get the Signature: The guest must sign the Equipment Use Agreement & Liability Waiver before taking the gear.
